The Nürburgring Nordschleife

Hidden in a German forest is the ultimate driving experience: the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Apparently one of the toughest and most dangerous circuits in the world (the track stopped being used for F1 after Niki Lauda almost died there in 1976), it's 13 miles long and has a lot of bends.

On certain days at specified times, the track is open to the public. During these public sessions, the track is a one-way toll-road with no speed limit (!!). We love road trips and driving holidays so I kind of like the sound of pretending to be a F1 driver for the day :)

The views look pretty spectacular too...
